Teachers Go Digital
I think we all know that there are not sufficient words for how challenging it was for teachers to change the entire template for how we do our jobs in a matter of weeks, but we did. The Covid-19 event pushed us all to new heights of excellence, and honestly I really think it has made us all better teachers. I dove head-first into the digital platform and spent countless hours swimming around the internet trying to figure out how to make digital platforms work for my students. We are all one big community and I want to share my newfound knowledge here with you, my lovely teacher friends.
I made this first video for another teacher after hunting around for the best way to make clean, clear, interactive work for my Transitions-level Special Needs students in our Google classroom. This video shows you how to make an editable assignment in Google Slides and how to post it in your Google Classroom. Take what you need from it and if you have discovered any tricks of your own, I’d love to hear them! Keep on putting one foot in front of the other, we’ve got this!
P.S. I have been working on a MacBook this year, so if you are using a different PC, you may not be familiar with a few of the terms I use in this video.
